Oil and gas processing facility with flare stacks and pipework, Axces pulsation, pressure, noise and emission control for hazardous-area installations

Oil & gas

Pulsation, pressure, noise and emission control for compressor stations, gas processing, refineries and LNG, engineered for sour service, hazardous areas and the pressure codes your facility is built to.

Pulsation, pressure and noise under control on one package.

Reciprocating compressors, gas processing and let-down systems generate pulsation, vibration, high-pressure vent noise and process emissions, often on the same skid, in a hazardous area, handling sour gas. Axces engineers the equipment that keeps all of it in check: pulsation dampeners, vent and flare silencers, pressure vessels and separators, diffusers and emission control.

Reciprocating-compressor work starts with a pulsation and mechanical study: dampeners and pipework are sized so pressure pulsation and shaking forces stay inside API 618 guidelines before anything is fabricated. Vent and blowdown silencers are sized to the relieving case, and pressure equipment is designed to PED, or the code the facility is built to.

Everything is built in the materials the service demands (sour-service and corrosion-resistant grades where required) to the hazardous-area and documentation requirements of an oil and gas project, and delivered to the construction or turnaround window.

Built for sour gas, high pressure and hazardous areas.

Five reasons operators and EPCs specify Axces for compressor, processing and let-down equipment.

From process data to a code-compliant package.

A four-step process that keeps pulsation, pressure and schedule risk off the critical path.

  1. Specify

We take your process data, gas analysis, design code and area classification and define the pulsation, pressure, noise and emission scope.

  2. Model

Pulsation and mechanical studies, relieving cases and acoustic analysis are run so the package meets API 618 and the limits before fabrication.

  3. Fabricate

Equipment is built in the specified materials to PED and the project codes, with full material and weld traceability.

  4. Commission

We support installation, witness testing and sign-off, handing over the pressure, acoustic and material documentation required.

The pressures shaping oil & gas facilities.

Emission rules, integrity demands and noise limits are tightening across upstream, midstream and downstream.

Flaring & venting limits

Methane and flaring regulation is pushing operators to reduce, silence and better control vent and flare systems.

Pulsation & vibration

Reciprocating compressors generate pulsation and shaking forces that threaten integrity if not engineered out.

Boundary & occupational noise

High-pressure vents and compressor packages must meet both site-boundary and worker-exposure noise limits.

Sour service & integrity

Sour gas, high pressure and corrosive environments demand the right materials and code-compliant pressure equipment.
