A pressure vessel is designed for all foreseeable loadings (pressure, temperature, wind and seismic, reaction forces, corrosion and fatigue) with adequate safety coefficients, to the essential safety requirements of the PED. Designing to the harmonised EN 13445 series for unfired pressure vessels gives a presumption of conformity. Main pressure-bearing parts carry material certificates of specific product control, welding procedures and welders are approved, and final assessment includes a proof test, normally hydrostatic.
Built To Your Specification
Under the PED, the paper trail is as much a deliverable as the steel. We establish the classification, match the conformity-assessment module to it, and hand over the full dossier.
We establish the fluid and its group, the maximum allowable pressure PS and volume V, and read the resulting category I–IV from the correct Annex II table, the basis for everything that follows.
The vessel is designed to the harmonised EN 13445 series for all foreseeable loadings with adequate safety coefficients, meeting the PED essential safety requirements.
Fabricated at our own facility with approved welding procedures and welders, specific material certificates for main pressure parts, NDT to the category, and notified-body conformity assessment under the appropriate module.
CE-marked under the applicable category (with the notified-body number where required) and delivered with the EU declaration of conformity, material, weld, NDT and proof-test records, and operating instructions.
